Dr. Natalie Archer is a dynamic Toronto dentist who began her dental career in 2001

She has managed to balance a career and a family while building her career as a hospital dentist. Natalie is passionate about giving back and delivering excellent service to all patients. Natalie spoke about how young individuals may have trouble finding a career path and that it is OK to not have everything figured out right away. Her advice is to keep your options open and be honest with yourself while making important decisions. Natalie believes you have to work for your education and that if you work for it, you deserve it. Following her impressive career so far, Natalie encourages women to take business risks and opportunities.

Melani ChongMelani Chong in fashion and beauty for over 15 years, Canadian Ford Model and mom of two children, Melani Chong developed a personalized skin care line called Soya Boutique. These organic products are a natural skin care collection that is useful for the whole family!

Starting out her life with a goal of  becoming an athlete, Melani soon found the world of modeling after an unfortunate injury that ended her athlete career hopes. Melani modelled for the Ford Modeling Agency but soon felt she was not on the right track. “I always knew there was something more for me”, says Chong. This is when Melani changed careers to a stylist and soon after developed her skin care line. Melani shares a piece of advice, be open and don’t forget we don’t know everything.

katrina haddenKatrina Hadden is a health and wellness specialist, size 12 model, life coach, motivational speaker and the author of the best-selling self-help book, Making It In High Heels.

Known for her positive energy and contagious smile, she helps her clients get better focused to achieve their goals and dreams . Katrina Hadden Life Coaching for Athletes has been a life coach for over eight years, specializing in Stress Management, Personal Development, Work-Life Balance and Health and Wellness. Katrina shares her many struggles such as facing anorexia and bullying issues because of her size but then realized later that she was always beautiful in her own way. After she had overcome her eating disorder and put herself back together she decided she wanted to help others with their health. A special moment in Katrina’s speech was when she spoke about walking in Toronto Fashion Week. A designer had made a dress for her size and asked Katrina to walk in the show. Katrina was thrilled and when she stepped out on the runway something magical happened. Every single person in the audience applauded her! They continued clapping and cheering until Katrina had stepped off the stage. This part of her speech gave me goosebumps! Katrina is a very positive person and great to talk to. “You do have a place in this world”, says Katrina, truly letting her experiences show.

Alexandra Orlanmdo, Olympic athleteAlexandra Orlando

Alexandra Orlando is a highly decorated world-class Rhythmic Gymnast. Her wisdom can be found inside the pages of an award winning book called In Pursuit of Victory.

Alexandra has just published her second motivational book, Breaking Through My Limits: An Olympian Uncovered.

Alexandra has overcome many struggles as her career and dreams took off. She had first tried out for the Olympic team for the 2003 Olympics but did not join the team. After being devastated by the news, Alexandra took time off gymnastics because she was completely frustrated and angry she did not make the team. After a few months she went back to the gym and decided to train for the 2008 Olympics, where she took home her medals! Alexandra stresses to others the importance of the journey to a goal and to take risks with your life!

These four ladies were amazing and so inspirational! It was a pleasure having them speak!
